MSA Safety's ALTAIR 4XR Multigas Detectors can support up to 4 gas sensors at one time, these portable gas monitors are ideal when performing hazard assessments or when assessing potential exposure to combustible or toxic gases and vapors as well as low levels of oxygen.
The ALTAIR 4XR can provide real-time incident awareness to team members, supervisors, safety managers, and others when paired with the MSA ALTAIR Connect app via a Bluetooth® wireless connection. The 4XR is one of the toughest multi-gas monitors on the market, they're drop tested from 25 ft. onto concrete and come outfitted with rapid-response MSA X-Cell® sensors, offering guaranteed performance that's backed by MSA's 4-year warranty.

The ALTAIR 4XR can be equipped to detect:
- Oxygen-deficient or oxygen-rich atmospheres
- Oxygen for monitoring inertization applications
- Combustible gases and certain combustible vapors
- Specific toxic gases for which a sensor is installed
- The device is suitable and certified for the measurement of the oxygen concentration in gas mixtures for inertization according to EN 50104 but without alarm function
NOTE: While the device can detect up to 30% oxygen in ambient air, it is approved for use only up to 21% oxygen. The ATEX directive is only valid until 25% Vol O2. It is imperative that this operating manual be read and observed when using the device. In particular, the safety instructions, as well as the information for the use and operation of the device, must be carefully read and observed. Furthermore, the national regulations applicable in the user's country must be taken into account for a safe use.

Yes. Request a quote for volume pricing, and open a corporate account for multi-site and repeat crew orders.
What is your return policy?
Returns and exchanges within 30 days, in the original packaging with the RMA number written on the outside. A 15% restocking fee and return shipping are deducted from the refund unless we shipped the wrong item or it arrived defective; exchanges carry no restocking fee. Boots and shoes return free within 30 days if unused and in the original box. Custom and personalized items, and clearance or sale items, cannot be returned.
